An up-and-coming software brand is refreshed and filled with life

Drooms is one of the leading providers of virtual data rooms and other secure cloud services for finance, real estate, legal, life science, energy and other industries. The software house successfully developed from a start-up and is now celebrating its 15th year. With the company growing globally and enlarging its range of products, the simplistic primal brand reached the point where it needed to be revised.

We started by restructuring the product lines, establishing distinctive elements and claims. I lifted the logotype — the only element that remained — and created a vibrant brand concept from scratch. I drew a new CI, created a colour scheme, image language and key visual elements. During the refresh, every single publication of the company was re-conceptualised and filled with life. Brand awareness seminars accompanied the process.

A precious packaging for confidential data

A heterogenic, business orientated target group is used to expensive lifestyle and expects quality. Design is centered on the valuable and confidential documents, a data room holds. In publications, a white outside is contrasted with saturated red inside for a packaging effect. Linings, sprinkle colour, half transparent papers or layers create value.
